Synopsis:

Them That Follow, an American drama film, follows Mara, who is the daughter of Pentecostal Pastor Lemuel. The story is based in the Appalachian Mountains. Here, followers of the church rely on deadly, poisonous snakes to prove their loyalty to their community and God. However, Mara breaks the rule by getting into a relationship with a non-believer and agrees to marry her father’s preferred congregant to appease him.
