The Goldfinch (2019)

Synopsis:

The Goldfinch, an American drama movie, is the story of a boy named Theodore “Theo” Decker who lost his mother to a bombing tragedy that happened at Metropolitan Museum of Art when he was 13. This incident had a long-lasting impact on Theo’s life and he experienced various phases throughout his life. He went through grief and guilt, redemption and reinvention, and even love while holding on to his nerves. The only thing that helped him keep going and became his hope through all ups and downs was a painting of a bird who was chained to its perch.
