Synopsis:

The Current War: Director’s Cut, an American biography drama movie, is an edited version of the movie originally released in 2017 at the Toronto International Film Festival. In 2017, the movie’s premiere faced negative criticism for not showcasing the right thing and Gomez-Rejon started working on the edits stating that it wasn’t what he envisioned. The movie showcases electricity titans Thomas Edison and George Westinghouse in a cut-throat race to create an electrical system for the modern world. While the movie showcases the tension escalating between the two, it also puts a light on the brilliant mind and vulnerability of Tesla.
