Tanhaji (2020)

Synopsis:

Tanhaji, an Indian biographical period movie, is the story of 17th century Marathi military leader named Tanaji Malusare. The Mughal emperor Aurangzeb declares Kondhana, a strategic hill fortress, as Southern India’s capital. While he plans to expand the Mughal empire into South India, the Maratha emperor Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj orders Tanaji Malusare to capture Kondhana to protect Southern India from the Mughal invasion. As a counter-measure, the Mughal emperor sends Uday Bhan, his trusted commander to defend the fortress. A battle between two armies starts for the control of the fortress. The battle is known as the Battle of Sinhagad that decided the fate of Southern India.
