Synopsis:

Shikara, an Indian historical drama movie is a story based on the love story of Shiv Kumar and Shanti who got caught up in the 1989-1990 violence. In independent India, more than 4,00,000 Kashmiri pandits had to run away from the Kashmir valley who then showed resilience in the face of insurmountable odds. Separatist groups forced the Hindu community of Kashmir valley to abandon their business and homes and become refugees in Jammu.
