Pain & Glory (2019)

Synopsis:

Pain and Glory, a Spanish drama movie, is based on the life of Salvador Mallo, who emigrated with his family in the 1960s. During his search for prosperity, he gets his first love in the 1980s, but a breakup separates him from his love leaving an intense pain for life. He chooses writing as a therapy to get past it that leads him to an amazing future. The story talks about the difficulties of separating from one’s own life and the passion that gives hope. While recovering the past, Salvador finds a need to recount it by creating movies and ultimately finds salvation.
