N.T.R: Kathanayakudu is a Telugu biographical drama that is based on the journey of a famous actor & politician through twists & turns and ups & downs in life. The movie is the first instalment of 2-part series that focuses on the life of Balakrishna (NTR) from start till his entry into the world of politics. Though he started as a sub-registrar, some unfortunate circumstances led him to quit his job and move to Madras to pursue a career in acting. The movie explains how Balakrishna moves works through hardships to establish a stronghold in the film industry, and what led him to choose a political career thereafter.
