Mamangam (2019)

Synopsis:

Mamangam, an Indian Malayalam language period action film, tells the tale of clashes that happened over the ownership of conducting the Mamangam festival that happens every 12 years. The story begins after Zamorin forcefully takes the charge from Valluvakkonathiri and the latter starts attacking the former to take back the charge. However, the Zamorin’s 30000 men strong army puts all the attacker’s efforts in vain, killing everyone before they even reach the place where Zamorin sits. Despite repeated failures, the fights keep on going for generations and the plot visualizes the acts as they happened in the past. Watch the movie to unravel how the clashes happened and whether Valluvakkonathiri’s army ever managed to reach and kill Zamorin.
