Hirkani (2019)

Synopsis:

Hirkani is an Indian historical period drama film in the Marathi language that follows the story of an amazing mother and a brave woman named Hirkani living in Maharashtra’s Raigad Fort during Shivaji’s regime. When Shivaji Maharaj ordered to seize the fort, he allowed the gates to be open from dusk to dawn and remain closed at all costs during the night. Hirkani, a milkmaid living in the village sprawling along the foot of the hill used to sell milk in the fort leaving her infant behind. One day Hira got late and stuck inside the fort but to reach back to her infant, she scaled down the hill during the night. Watch how her act of bravery earned her recognition in history.
