Good American Family (2025)

Synopsis:

Good American Family is a Hulu drama series based on a true story. It follows Kristine and Michael Barnett, a couple who adopt a girl named Natalia Grace from Ukraine. Natalia has a rare condition called dwarfism, and they are told she is seven years old. At first, everything seems normal as they raise her with their three sons. But soon, Kristine and Michael start noticing strange behavior and begin to wonder if Natalia is really a child—or an adult pretending to be one.

The story shows what happens as their suspicions grow, leading to a huge legal and media battle. It explores big questions about trust, identity, and what makes a family. The series was created by Katie Robbins and directed by Liz Garbus, who also helped produce the first episode. Ellen Pompeo plays Kristine Barnett, while Mark Duplass plays Michael. Imogen Faith Reid plays Natalia Grace, showing her complicated and mysterious character. The cast also includes Sarayu Blue as a concerned daycare parent and Dulé Hill as a detective.
