Eighth Grade (2018)

Synopsis:

Eighth Grade is an upcoming American comedy drama film about a young teenager named Kayla, who happens to be studying in the eighth grade of her school. She is just like any other teenager who happens to have some very serious social and psychological issues of her own. In addition to that, her very own family is somewhat ignorant of the fact that her young daughter is facing many troubles blending into the society. The film tackles the themes of humour, slice of life and how strongly facing troubles at a young age helps us later in life to make wise decisions.
