Colette (2018)

Synopsis:

Colette is an upcoming British biographical drama film that is directed by Wash Westmoreland. The movie reflects the life of the French novelist Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette who was initially a singer but things changed drastically as future had different plans for her. She got married to a dominating man named Willy who was 14 years older than her. Her husband convinced her to write novels that he published in his own name. Colette got no recognition and appreciation for her work because all her work was done in the name of Willy that frustrated her to a great extent. Later on, she started an affair with Mathilde De Morny but her husband wasn’t ready to let go off her that easily.
